This section should help you sort your questions about how to
get the pet of your dreams and the best way to meet those goals.

What is an Essence, and what does it do?

An Essence, is an item that will change your pet from its current
species, to the new species of choice, in its "Normal" form.
Essences have been created for EVERY pet on site. However, there
are different ways to obtain them.
The majority of the pet essences, can be found in Zulimes hidden
shop, think ... swampy, (*whistles*).
The premium, Credit Shop pet essences can be found in the CS,
and the Caribyss Essence is in .. water, where else would it be?

 

What is a poppet, and what does it do?

A poppet is an item that will not only change your pet to a new
species, but will also retain its current color or theme.
Example, if you have a Phantom Skillow, and would like it to be
a Phantom Ahbruis, an Ahbruis Poppet, is the item you would need.

Poppets can be found in their own section of the Credit Shop.
We know the cost may be a bit shocking at first glance, but,
consider the cost of the species change, as well as the box
you do not have to replace.

What about "creating" LE and Credit Shop pets now?

           

You are able to create an LE or a Credit Shop pet now,
at any time you would like.
HOWEVER, these are still "special" pets and the cost still exists.
To create these pets, "newly born" you will use the buttons on the
Create a Pet page. Once there, you will be flagged to pay the
appropriate credit fee.

You also have the option of waiting for special and random, free
creation releases of the LE pets. However, these may be released
in smaller batches now that there are more options for these
rare pets. We want to keep them as special as they have always been.

I have a Jumboyo Village pet poppet/essence,
but I keep getting an error message. 
Why is that, what is going on?

      

In order to use one of those poppets or essences, you
need to have completed the Jumboyo Village requirements. 
You need to complete 4/5 requirements and one of those
must be the last one (the Medallion of Requirements). 
Each Medallion is good for one pet.
