Customizing (Accounts)

I see many members with fancy colorful profiles, how do I change mine?

To create a customized profile is actually very easy. By using the "Preferences" link on
your left hand task options, you can begin to have some fun. Once you have done that,
you want to select the Profile Setup section.
From there you will see many options to adjust and customize your user profile.
To add color to your home profile, use the "CSS Style" icon.
The most important thing to remember when customizing your page, is to correctly
set the drop list to read "User option CSS". From there you move from section to
section and use the pop up color chart to make your selections. If you should choose
to use an off site Hex Code page, that will work as well. But you must remember to
also use # symbol, as is already there, in each of your color choices.
Finally, once you have finished, remember to click "Update Profile CSS" at the bottom of
the page. From this point, you can come back and make changes anytime you wish.
To add personal content such as a story line, or images you would use the "(Pet/User) Profile" icon.
Currently, the site uses BB Code for any text, color or images you would want to add.

How do I customize my pets pages?

To update your pets personal profile is equally as easy.
Start by going to your pets page. Along the top of the page, you will see various options.
Select "edit pet" (the final option in the row). Once there, the page will be very similar
to the User Profile option page.

I see that some pets have "personality traits" on their pages. How do I add those?

This is called, "Mesmerizing".
To add the personality trait choices, you would access the following page and use the drop
options to assign the pets personality.  At this time, those choices cannot be changed. that
may update in the future, also, more options may be added.

What is a "Module" and how do I use them?

Modules are the areas of your profile (pet and user) that you can add, or remove.
Some examples of these areas would be the Books Read, Exotic Foods, Collections.
To remove the modules you do not wish to display, you use the following steps:
Go to the profile of the pet you wish to work on. You will see that each module has an
"edit" option, and a "red X / remove" option. Remove those you do not want displayed.
If at any time you want to bring one of those modules back, you use the following steps:
Go to the pets profile, and click "Edit Pet" on the top task bar.
From there you will see an icon for each module belonging to that pet. Click the icon and
choose "Yes" in the display options, and update.
To edit the modules colors to work with the profile currently set, you would go to
"Edit Pet" and use the CSS Style options.

** Please remember on both User and Pet profiles, language and images must continue
to follow all site rating guidelines found in the TOS, as well as the Rules Forum.
