Pandoria's Birthday

-Theme-
Ostara is Mistica's version of Easter and typically focuses on colorful eggs. During Ostara, we also celebrate the birthday of Mistica's goddess Pandoria. Pandoria is also closely tied with the ostara eggs because she is the one who gave Misticans hatchipals.
-Typical Items-
Ostara items are spring themed. The colors are the typical pastels- yellow, pink, blue, and green. Most of the items have to do with eggs (dye pots, baskets, etc) or animals (mostly birds and rabbits). Pandoria-themed items are released as well. Here are some examples below:

-Characters-
Ostara Vix
The equivalent of the Easter Bunny, this Vix spends her time hiding eggs for Misticans to find. However, the only year she made her appearance was 2009.
Pandoria
Pandoria is the goddess of Mistica. During her birthday, she may open up a special shop or release special items in her honor.

2009 (April 10th - April 14th)
This year was the first official Ostara. Tons of spring items were released (eggs, baskets, plushies, stationary, hats, etc). The ostara Vix hid some eggs around the site for the members to find.
2010 (April 7th - April 17th)
In 2010, new items were released as well as the return of last year's favorites. This year, eggs appeared randomly for members to find. Plain eggs, rubber bands, and dye pots also restocked and gave members the opprotunity to dye their own eggs in a variety of colors. Pandoria also showed up for her birthday. She opened her very own shop where members could trade in items for Pandoria Points. In this shop, she sold a variety of items all based on the goddess herself. There were also Pandoria-themed goody bags handed out via Random Events.
2011 (April 11th - April 24th)
Ostara came again this year with egg dying, including the eggs from last year and some new "ribboned" eggs. There were also Bejewelled Eggs hidden every hour around site. The first three Misticans to find each location were awarded with an egg. There were also many more spring items released including the adorable ChickeeDees. Finally, Pandoria reopened her shop with new goodies for members to buy with their eggs.
2012 (April 8th - April )
This year, the classic egg-dying and searching returned along with the bejewelled eggs now appearing randomly for all members. The invisible eggs have been released as well in Rosebud's shop. Many new items were released during the course of the holiday, and even more were introduced in Pandoria's shop when it opened on her birthday. Members were able to once again turn in their eggs for the points in return for items from the shop.
